I'm still looking for evidence that being in the WCC has hurt Gonzaga's seeding. Again, two #1's and a #2 in the past 6 years. I haven't bothered to check how many other teams have 3 top-two seeds in that time period, but I'm sure the list isn't very long and none of the other teams are in the MWC or AAC.

Plus, 20 appearances in a row, where if anything, they've underperformed their seeds over the past 17 years.

And the 30-4 team this year wouldn't have been 30-4 playing in the AAC. They likely would have finished about where Wichita State was and got a #4 seed just like Wichita. And hey, this year they were a #4 seed!
