I mean hypothetically. It's not impossible for UNM, UNLV, Utah State, Nevada, Boise, Fresno, SDSU, Colorado State and Wyoming to all be good not to mention when they had BYU and Utah.

I looked it up
2013 the MWC got 5 of their 9 teams in:
San Diego St, UNLV, New Mexico, Colorado St, Boise St.
2014: 4 of their 9: UNLV, New Mexico, San Diego St, Boise St
2012: 4 out of their 8: Colorado St, New Mexico, UNLV, San Diego St
I started with the first year BYU and Utah were gone.

Yep, that's best case scenario.

Their last year together (2011) was pretty interesting with the top 4: SDSU, BYU, UNLV, UNM and the worst 2 teams out of their 9 were Utah and TCU. Wow, BYU and SDSU were pretty spectacular that season...if BYU could have a basketball team consistently like they were in the MWC era, maybe the MWC did make a mistake not letting them stay as an Olympics only member? I’m guessing they’ve all hurt themselves in recruiting
