Why? Coaches didn’t like playing at 8pm and then turning around to play somebody who’d played a Morning game and had twice as long to recover. And they’re right. This is much fairer. Also schools hated having their women’s and men’s teams playing simultaneously. And this is the easiest way to avoid that problem. Still remains to be seen how the venue turns out but I’m looking forward to seeing how it all plays out and if we get any local casual fans interested.
