Wow. I mean, I'm not surprised after the attendance and PR problems Tubby has had, but wow in the sense that this is a bold call.

I don't think that Tubby was ever a good fit, so I understand moving on from him.

The problem I see, is that if Penny doesn't work out, I'm not sure Memphis' program recovers for a very long time. That job would be pretty toxic if Penny can't right the ship after seeing the school run Tubby out after 2 years.

Not a reason not to do it considering the crossroads Memphis fans say the program is at with support, but this has the potential to go really poorly.
