After firing Tubby and hiring Penny if he fails this program is on the Houston plan. They will have to take Gamble's on coaches, have one pay off, then they'll get the regular batch of coaches looking. Till then no credible coach will even entertain the idea.

You think the attendance slump Pastner started is bad, they'll have no one showing up for that rebuild. Meanwhile the Grizzly are one trade/draft away from being the rage in town again. Because the NBA has a competitive system the grizzly will for sure cycle back. Anybody think SFSU is going to turn up good again? That's the risk they are taking firing a guy in year two. Your program doesn't win and you are toast.
