I resemble that remark!
But neither of you will after your operations. ;-)

Only problem the CUSA coaches didn't get the fan memo of ECU's already predetermined greatness.

Thus the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the ECU players.

Are you kidding

We finished 4-4 and 6th overall in CUSA last season. How they think we are going to be worse returning most everyone is nuts IMO.

Of the teams picked ahead of us....

#1 UCF lost by 10 but had 6 tunovers to 0, outgained them and lead in the 4th Quarter, certainly a game we fumbled away.

#2 S. Miss--------

#3 Memphis....we lost by 3 points @ Memphis, but they lost Deangelo Williams (their best player ever) to the Carolina Panthers in the first round, and a starting QB.

#4 Marshall... we beat these guys @ Marshall they won 3 CUSA games last year.

#5 UAB.....we beat these guys with an NFL QB Hackney (their best player ever) who is now gone and they won 3 CUSA games.

Use some common sense. Seriously how they pick us #6 in the east is beyond me considering we return most of starters. All the other publications pick us 3rd or 4th at worst.

Still want to brag about how great ECU will be this year and how the preseason ranking's were b.s.? Come on Jonesing, what's the deal now after two games?

Suprise Suprise!!! I actually had it scribbled down in my notes that Chemmie or Knightime would drag this thread to the top depending on how the season started. Looking at the first four games I thought we would be doing great to finish 2-2 now 1-3 or 0-4 look more realistic.

As for CUSA East we are one game out of first with a lot of football to go.
I still think being picked last was a stretch based on where we finished last year and what we have coming back this year. We will see how it works out on the field as opposed to on the message board.
