They said at the Memphis/UAB there were 20,000.
It was not close to 10,000
I do wish UAB would be better. I want you guys to help our conference.
You got to get a different Board of Trustees.

You have the worst football team in the conference.
Why are you even talking?
UAB's attendance issues are none of your business, or anyone else's. Focus on your own team. Nobody in this conference needs to be accountable to anyone else but themselves.

Do you think before you post? Seriously. I'm just going to ignore the parts about attendance numbers, it's obvious you're going to believe whatever you want to believe, regardless of what anyone else says.
Do you have any idea how difficult it would be to just go out and get a different BoT? Do you have any idea how lucrative UAB is for the entire UA system? Do you really think the state legislature would screw the main state university system just for the sake of an athletics department? Do you post just to read your own thoughts? In real life, do you talk just to hear the sound of your voice?
No, UAB doesn't need to just go get our own BoT. What we need is for the small-minded crimson members of the board to treat all members equally, but I don't really expect that to happen as long as the son of the man that never wanted us to play football is a member of said board. Maybe once he's gone, and a lot of the negative feelings between the Bartow crowd and UAT are gone, we'll start getting our fair shake. Until then, we just have to play the hand we are dealt. It's just too bad Watson has a tendency to fold.

I read the title and thought we were talking about Memphis Basketball season ticket sales.

Right about now, Memphis basketball has a better shot at the Liberty Bowl than Memphis football.

13,000 for a primetime game? UAB sucks, just like their fanbase. Maybe the Sun Belt or MAC would be pumped over 13,000 but UTEP fans know that is pathetic and bush league.

I haven't seen anyone "pumped" about that attendance.

Don't the where are the UAB fan jokes get old? Guess not.
What in the hell did you expect to see on TV last night? I saw what I expected; a nearly empty stadium because fans are fed up with Watson Brown and have decided not to spend another damn dollar on this program.
Wanna know what else is sad, Paul Bryant Jr. has given Watson his complete support and doesn't think he should step down as coach. So it is not of the realm of possibilities that WB may actually be back to coach another season at UAB. And if that happens you can expect to see an empty Legion Field next year as well.
*hit happens and it continues to happen at UAB. Now continue on with the tired empty Legion Field jokes. It's theraputic!

We had 30k+ for the Troy and Miss$take games. Bash our attendance all you want, but don't just outright lie.
And I bet those 30K+ were there to see MSU or Troy play, not UAB

You'd lose.
We had 28K against ECU, and everyone they brought came in one car.
The attendance slide started when the season went in the tank.
Not complicated.

Unfortunately, there will never be an opportunity to prove that there's any truth to that.
