Northwestern picked up a late commitment for next season when Bill Carmody got 6-4 Mohamed Hachad, a Morocco native who grew up in Montreal. He was voted Mr. Quebec, even over Bernard Cote, who is headed to Kentucky. Hachad will fit in the rotation with Winston Blake, Jason Burke and Jitim Young along the perimeter.

Has anyone seen him play yet, to know how much he will help immediately?

I haven't seen him play, but by looking at NU's returning roster, I think he should play right away.
