WCU!! Actually, while I don't think we'll win the SoCon, I do believe we'll finish 3rd or 4th and get back to the playoffs. Here's my pre-preseason picks.
1) Georgia Southern (just too much talent)
2) App.State (unfortunately)
3) Western Carolina (I really think it can happen, young team)
4) Wofford (a step back and still no playoffs)
5) Citadel (could knock off Wofford for 4th)
6) Furman ("thy kingdom is crumbling"
7) Chattanooga (give these guys until 2005)
8) ETSU (they'll be there)
9) Elon (I'd have taken Davidson back or got G-Webb)
These are my views only, and they'll probably change after all the Spring workouts are over, so check back around the end of April. GO CATS!!

We are going to so young so I do not have a prediction yet, but this summer should be interesting with Spring ball. BTW, Western you have no chance...17 out of 18 years with the jug. You guys are no rivals anymore.

Yes, you have won 17 out of 18, but IMS, Bob Waters sent you back to Boone with a loss a lot in his 20 years. Hey, I give credit to Coaches Woods and Moore. But WCU will have their day in the sun again against you. You can guaran-damn-tee it!! GO CATS!!

buck o'five rat dog......LMAO!
My vote goes to GSU on tradition. Even with all they lost they made it to the "final four" of the playoffs this year. I think they are going to even better in '03.

Catamount Cooter,
You keep posting that Furman is heading downhill, so to say, but you never say why. So, why?
I believe our program is as strong as it has been in a long time. We'll be returning 6 starters on offense and 8 on defense next season.

I think a lot of Bobby Johnson, and in my opinion, Bobby Lamb is no Bobby Johnson. Johnson would've never allowed that debacle against GSU to occur, nor made the bone-headed call against Appy. FU looked just a little too lost at times last season to me. With BJ back, you guys would've won the SoCon and, more than likely, been back in Chattanooga. Just my take.

1. App St (Its your turn for the ring)
2. GSU (Conference slip, but still a force in the playoffs)
3. Furman (Not slifding down hill)
4. Wofford (Can't make the next step)
5. Go Bucs (Not as bad as people think, but Hamilton still doesn't return)
6. Western (Not as good as you think)
7. The Citadel (No VMI to beat on)
9. UTC (What a waste of the National Championship's field)
10. Elon (Is this a step up from VMI?? At least they had some tradition)
