I'm so tired of seeing posts about how North Texas is so great. The thing is Middle Tennessee and Troy have better facilities and have better attendance at their games. I'm so happy they have been winning games but they are only 1-1 against Troy and we had a bad year last year. I just don't understand why all the talk is about North Texas being the power house of the Sun Belt yes they have faired well in football but have they done anything else in any other sport? I hope Middle Tennessee and Troy go undeafeated in the Sun Belt and that last game between us is who gets to go to New Orleans. I'm rooting for you guys all the way because everyone thinks we are the two teams that are going to be left behind when it is all said and done with. Nothing personal to the other teams but people are predicted the Louisiana teams and Arkansas teams to go to the WAC thus leaving MTSU and Troy getting screwed. I just want to know everyones ideas on this subject because if we don't stick together well Troy and MTSU will be screwed anyways!

Your basketball arena looks great I hope Troy builds theirs similar to that. Don't laugh at our arena when you come it is really bad but we are going to build a new one. Anyways on the post I have looked at other boards and read articles and it looks like that we are the two teams that are going to get screwed when it is all said and done with, but it looks like you guys might get an invite to the MAC who knows it all makes me sick to my stomach. Hope this season is a blast and can't wait for our game, I so hope we both have good records going in to it to make mean more. This should be an awsome rival game for us and help out on attendance.

Something tells me MTSU and WKU could be in the MAC in the near future.

That's the thing that could really s*ck with all the conference realignment stuff. While my first concern is, and will always be WKU, I'd also hate to see MTSU or Troy put in a lurch because of the other Sunbelt FOOTBALL schools heading off for what they PERCEIVE as greener pastures (I'm still not sold on the fact that the WAC is ultimately all that). As for MTSU, it would be nice if they followed WKU to the MAC (if the rumors are true). It would be really nice to kick our rivalry into really high gear. The basketball one is already there and a return of the football one could only make it even more intense. As for Troy, keep your heads up. I bet something comes up for you guys (as well as FIU and FAU).
