I haven't really considered UNCC a rivalry game, probably because we only played you here like once in 5 seasons. Had we been in the same division during the initial years of Confusa it might have been different.

But I think you will enjoy the A-10 rather than having to play the Texas athletic conference.

It's a shame you're such a bitter person jeb. It has to be painful going through life being you.

I'll offer up some pity on your behalf.

Pity yourself dude...not Jeb.

We are still playing...you are not.

We love our coach...you hate yours.

We kicked your butts....nuff said.

Our board is happy...yours is sad.

Jeb bitter?...No. You ?...Seem to be.

Now scurry back home little one. Enjoy your misery.
looks like you are stuck with the coach you want to fire because even UT won't touch him now. That is just sad.

Of course you are. You're in the NIT where you belong. You own the Calipari invitational. However the only people that actually care that you're still playing are you all.

I don't hate Lutz.

It's funny that you're still hanging your hat on splitting with us this season. But then you are short on any meaningful acomplishments this season.

Your board is happy? Yeah, that was really the case after you lost to UL. Get over yourself.

I'm not bitter, but you and your ilk certainly are.

Oh, and I don't want to fire Lutz. We have those that do just like you have one's here that want to get rid of Cal. And if we were paying Lutz 1.5 mil for dominating the NIT then I might feel the same.

I wish you good luck in your drive for 65 piggy.

Granted C-USA basketball took a hit with the loss of UL, UC and Marquette, but the others at this time are about par with several of our new teams.
We will look forward with anticipation to that great rivalry between Charlotte and St Bonaventure. Wow, a national game if there ever was one. NOT!

As to the exchanges with Stammers; we are damn lucky to have great fans such as Stammers. He is intelligent, knows a few things about basketball (most likely he's forgotten more than I'll ever know), he is witty and I know I certainly wouldn't want to tangle with Stammers.

Powerbait: Classy post, and best wishes to you and your team. We both (schools) will have to suck it in and get to work to maintain our progress.

Granted it's not on par with that impending Rice/Memphis made for TV, prime time rivalry, but then what is right?

We can talk smack about a lot of things and bash each other from here to Tuesday. But what neither of our fans have any business doing is bashing the other's conference as far as competition and rivalries. Both are, quite simply, horrible.

Your best hope is that the Big East splits again. We have that in common.

And if the BE does spilt, will it come looking for Charlotte? I don't think so! Why would the BE want Charlotte? It doen't play FBall! Conferences now want at least 12 total sports members. That just doen't includeUNC@C.

Even if from time to time you find a way to beat Memphis, face it your program is small time. During the years when we are very successful there are some teams who seem to have our number like playing at St. Louis or in Hattiesburg, so if we go to Charlotte and get cheated and lose, there is still no comparison to our programs. The national TV networks wanted us some 14 times this season. How many times were you losers on? Charlotte sucks!!! 03-puke Plain and simple.

Wow, clearly rational thought and deductive logic aren't your strong suit.

Allow me to explain, and I'll be sure and use small words for your benefit.

If the Big East splits, it will be, again, due to football. Right now there are 7 schools that aren't part of the football side. Depaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence, Seaton Hall, St. Johns and Villanova. Along with full members Cincy, UCONN, UL, Notre Dame (minus football), Pitt, Rutgers, USF, Cuse and WVU that makes up a 16 team conference.

If they split, it will be by adding 3 more full member schools for a 12 team, all sports league, under the assumption that Notre Dame would become a full member including football. That's where Memphis comes in. This has been discussed many, many times here. I guess it just hasn't sunk in with you.

That leaves the rest of the schools that don't play football to form a new conference. They'll need to add schools to it and that means Charlotte will be candidate.

Let me know if you need some pictures to make it clearer for you. In the mean time, if you're going to insist on making an ass of yourself, think before you do it. Granted I know that's a chore but you can at least make the effort.

Not unless Charlotte decides to become a Catholic school. Personally I hope it doesnt. Strippers need a college too.

Is Bh's mom looking to apply?

And before I get any shocked or self righteous rebukes BH made the same type of remark towards me in another thread.

Wow. Did you just rationalize your juvenile post by crying "He did it fiiiiiiirst!" :crying: :crying: :crying:

Yeah, and Mojo's stripper remark was the height of maturity?

I don't believe I was crying. However I will be checking the NIT thread on the smack board for that same "juvenile" rebuke for BH. I'm sure it will be along most anytime now. Afterall, there are no hypocrits here or anything.

It would not be hypocritical unless I acted alternately within the same circumstance (look up the definition, and the spelling, if you need to). His was the first comment (which I never saw) and my critique of your action was based on the fact that you made the second crude comment and claimed "he did it fiiiiirst!". Hence, if I were to critique him I would not be criticizing whether he claimed you did it first. Get it? Good. Got Lutz? Even Better. You deserve one another.

Season's over, you may go now.

Wow, the term "full of sound and fury signifying nothing" comes to mind.

I pointed out the comment to you, even told you what thread to find it in. Yet you still remain silent on it. That's called hypocricy. Thanks for illustrating it for us and proving my point all in one swoop.

Have a great day.
