Sorry partner. We aren't gonna lose any sleep tonight over a mid-season loss that was our only loss in our last 19 games when we are looking at a #2 seed in the tournament.. You'll be the one's tossing and turning seeing FT's brick off the rim all night on your way to the N-I-T.

I know that this isn't gonna be very popular with my fellow Tiger fans--

Garcia is a very talented basketball player. He does a lot away from the ball that largely goes unnoticed, and he shoots very well. He is def an NBA player IMHO. As ffor the crying, a lot of players do that. I don't notice he does it anymore than anyone else, and that doesn't keep anyone out of the NBA> If it did, Gasol would be gone today.

Not losing any sleep here and I am not your partner.
Maybe its time you go on back to your board cause you sounding more and more like your buddies.
DWash is a good kid who happened to miss some freethrows.
You and your fans have shown just why Kentucky hates you so.
Run on home and celebrate your one point win that you got only because our freshman missed two freethrows.
You'll get yours and soon.

UL, this was a classic game. Your team won, and to be honest you deserved it. Ya'll made plays when you had to. Is it neccessary to clown us when you know we are down?
Show some class man, really.

I've shown class in threads where BS hasn't been spilled out. This thread is full of BS. Garcia was deadly in this game. Garcia celebrated AFTER the game....while Washington pointed at our bench after the foul was called and then missed 2 out of 3. At least Garcia saved it for after the game when his team had won.

Washington is a heck of a player....but don't try and call our players classless when Washington is the one pointing at our bench just before he lost the game.

Again....more BS. Show me a mock draft that doesn't have Garcia as a 1st round draft pick.

I don't care.
I just don't think he will make it in the pro's.
I would take the Obannon kid anyday over cisco or whatever.
Maybe he will change his ways and make something of himself cause I know I have heard he needs the money but, his attitude will have to change bigtime!

I know you have shown class in threads, but why let this classic game degenerate to this garbage? Some people took exception to Garcia and Miles actions after the game. We watched our kid fall apart and blame himself. I have always enjoyed this rivalry because I thought there was a mutual respect. You coming to our board and responding to a thread the day of a game like this is like interfering in family affairs. You can't act a foo and then say it was okay because someone else did.

Garcia is a very talented player, no doubt. So is Dash--they are both competitors and wanted to win very badly. Now, if you wanna talk about actions, did I not see Miles getting all hot headed after a foul? It is a game with a lot on the line--

Ha...do you want me to give you a link to another website where a Memphis fan felt the need to bash my religous beliefs to make him feel better after the game?

03-confused

So much for your earlier attempt at nobility.

If you do not like jabs at your favorite team and it's players, do not troll on other school's fan sites.

This is the same sort of garbage that is spewed all over the internet.

DWash does nothing that hundreds of other college athletes, including a ton at looeyville, also do. The chest thumping was virtually perfected by players like Garcia.

The red fans complaining about DWash's antics (alleged antics) are likely upset because in the game in Kentucky the kid was tremendous. No one likes to lose.

But last I checked, this was a Memphis site.

And today's game was an emotional game.

And a great kid and great competitor had a signature tragic moment after helping carry his school, team and city to a near tremendous run to the big dance after a ridiculously turmultuous season. And in the process saw his team prove that while they had a disappointing year, they are a great basketball team. Took 15 threes including some ridiculous heaves to hold on for the win.

Any sports fan can see that.

The Garcia/Washington poem was just silly and obviously just a homer rant poking some fun at Garcia's admitted sour disposition and his advanced age versus Washington's youth.

So what.

If it bothers you, stay away.

I had no idea you were just another college aged kid with a fancy computer that apparently has been on line and in this site virtually all day.

So doing it (bashing the other team) back makes it right? In no way is bashing your religous beliefs right... i wouldnt want that done to me. But the point im tryin to make is that we just lost and to be the bigger man and walk away, dont rub it in.

The difference between Garcia and Washington is easy:

Washington: choked when game/NCAA berth was on the line
Garcia: fouled him/if he hadn't, Washington's shot may have gone in

Washington: NIT bound
Garcia: #2 seed in NCAA

Both will be millionaires soon.

I wish the Cards had a player like Washington, minus all the showboating. The showboating doesn't bite that much when you back it up (like in Freedom Hall), but makes you look like a punk when you clank two free throws in the conference championship. If you're going to run your mouth and point at the opponent's bench, stick out your tongue, etc. then back it up when the game is on your shoulders. Otherwise, shut up and play the game.

Just think of Terrel Owens and Randy Moss I can't think of any NBA players cause I do not follow it. Whole lots of talent but could not shut the @$%!$ up so they got shipped out to new teams and they are veterans. Gacia will be a rookie so he better learn some humility or he he is going to get eaten up in the NBA and spit out.
