Quote:We're going to win because we have better athletes, we're better coached, and we have MORE of said athletes.

So based upon your logic, you are saying that last year the Tigers must have had better athletes, were better coached, and had MORE of said athletes. Because if you Rebels had those, you would have won.

Since neither freshman class will have as much impact as each team's senior class from last season, then it stands to logic that the Tigers still have the better athletes. Since neither staff took a significant hit in the coaching staff, the Tigers must still be better coached.

Since we still have better SAID athletes, depth is on our side too.

Hmmmmmmmmm, you better hope for that huge home field advantage. Oh, that's right, 8000+ Tiger fans will be there too. Buh-bye home field.

Your logic is seriously flawed. However, your passion is to be admired as is HLT's.

All the pressure is on Old Mrs. The Tigers have nothing to lose since you guys are SUPPOSED to beat poor little ol' Memphis.

Flim-flam, all sham, stale piss, by damn.

I think Ole Miss still thinks we're going to line up the football budgets to see who wins. The money doesn't play, the kids do. And you can't buy kids anymore - even in Mississippi.

Are you willing to concede the same things about a Mississippi State (the worst of their teams in YEARS) that beat you by 2 scores last season? I hardly think so. Last year was last year, we won 7 SEC games, something you havent done in the last 10 years combined, and went to a New Years Day bowl..... something you have never done, nor will ever do.

>Since neither freshman class will have as much impact as each team's senior class from last season, then it stands to logic that the Tigers still have the better athletes. Since neither staff took a significant hit in the coaching staff, the Tigers must still be better coached.

What? Talk about flawed logic.... if you want to compare athletes of this years senior season... fine, lets do it... lets look at the recruiting classes of 2002... you had 2 four stars... we had 8, and a 5 star signee that graduated last year. Anything else on that subject?

>Since we still have better SAID athletes, depth is on our side too.
Laughable at best... you dont really believe this, do you?

>Hmmmmmmmmm, you better hope for that huge home field advantage. Oh, that's right, 8000+ Tiger fans will be there too. Buh-bye home field.

it was 10,000 yesterday... what happened? Either way we'll have 55k-57k wearing RED in a REAL college football atmosphere.... i hardly think your 8k fans (which will be more than you fill your own stadium with, in some cases) will make a difference.

>Flim-flam, all sham, stale piss, by damn.

Witty, really witty... how does it feel to know that you'll never lead in this series?

Hey Rebeljon...If all this crap you are spewing is true, then why has every single pre-season poll and publication that has come out put the Tigers ahead....Way ahead...of your Rebs?

Please give a realistic, thought out answer.

39-27? Two Scores?*

I guess if you look at it that way, we beat you guys last year by four scores (two field goals and two safeties).

Two Scores?

How weak.

* Notwithstanding that Mistake lacked by one foot putting the ball over the goalline for the final touchdown.

It's your logic son, not mine.

Recruiting ratings don't mean squat until you get on the field, 44-34. Anything else on that subject son?

Quote:it was 10,000 yesterday... what happened? i hardly think your 8k fans (which will be more than you fill your own stadium with, in some cases) will make a difference.
Where did I say 10,000? 8k, which is more than we will fill our stadium with? Son, our smallest BASKETBALL crowds are more than that. You cant draw 1800 in that High School gym you webels call home.

By the way... To make it easy on you, I just spoke with the suicide hotline, they're expecting your call.

Just perfectly illustrating the point that teams can't be judged until they take the field.....

Most publications see that we lost the Number 1 draft pick, but have no clue otherwise about us....

We'll see... i can guarantee after games are played we'll finish higher than you, just like last year.... and about the other 80 years before that, too.

Do you think calling me "son" makes you feel better? Confidence maybe? Little man syndrome, most likely.

I'm not going to personal insults over an interenet message board.

If you want to have a logical conversation, something I haven't seen yet, "son", look me up or email me.

Hey, you're fair game, Jon....

If I can come over to your board for no other reason than to let you all know that we're bringing 7500 folks down there, and have dozens of you idiots attack me and put me down....well, you shouldn't expect much different when you come over here and ask a stupid question like, "how do you expect to win?"
