He would have to have an amazing senior year and completely rule the all star games. I dont think that will happen. Here is a very good article.

I think rick is speaking to The Bomber's mocking of the phrase "He's the one I've wanted all along."

He's quite correct. I was mocking IC and Rick knew that. Not a problem. 03-wink

well Hendrix has dais his decision will come in 2-3 weeks, so we have timetable now... I know Roy expects to get him, but every coach expects to get some recruits every now and then. What do you guys think are our actual chances of getting this guy and what do you think about this guy going pro instead of coming here or after 1 or 2 years...

The talk in Alabama is that he wants to come to UNC but the pull from his "peeps" is to go to Alabama. I think his parents want him to come to UNC (not 100% sure on that). I think he will be a heel. I really look for Bynum to go to UCONN. He is a project. A 7' project, but still is a couple of years away. I honestly feel the days of the huge center are over. The players are soooo fast that a big guy just cannot keep up. Hendrix and Tyler on the court with Marvin...........whew..............man, that would be sweet.

Wasn't Hendrix's aunts one of the first African American's to be admitted to 'Bama? Also hasn't most his family gone to 'Bama? I could be wrong, but if true, wouldn't his family want him to go to 'Bama?

peace.

Who knows what kids are being advised to do and by whom in today's screwed up world. Everybody's got an agenda.

I hope he makes a choice that he will be happy with years from now. Of course I think that would be UNC, but I've got an agenda. 03-wink

I'm really worried about Hendrix making the jump. From what I've seen and heard, not to mention where he's ranked, why wouldn't he go?

I don't know much about the guy, but he sounds like he would be a huge get. Hopefully Roy can reel him in....

Sounds like he will go to Alabama. Sorry to hear this. Bynum, on the other hand, is closer than we think.

Bynum has more height, which I prefer. More likely to play center than gripe about not being allowed to go out and shoot the three all the time.
