Well when you lose basically your entire starting 5... you're not gonna get much respect.

DT knows what he is talking about.l
-Gilchrist has the potential to be one of the best PG's in the nation
-Caner-Medley will get more looks this year. He's a great shooter
-Garrison is going to be awesome
-Jamar Smith played in 30 games, and will offer speed and height
-Big time prospect Michael Jones will definately be a factor
-Ibekwe, a 6'9'' C/F has the body of Chris Bosh. Long arms, tall, and thin.
-And you can never forget recruits D.J. Strawberry, Hassan Fofana, or Will Bowers.
Maryland will be young, but they'll be good.

Sorry... but when you lose your entire starting 5... you need a handful of blue chip recruits to be good the next year. Michael Jones is the only one of the incomers who is a blue chipper.
If you don't think the absence of Blake is going to MAUL Maryland, you're kidding yourself. You have no clue how reliant you were last year.

and I guess you do, huh?
I am more than confident in the skillz of Gilchrist next year...you should be very afraid...
IMHO we upgrade at almost every position next year in terms of skill level and with time will come experience and confidence...
like i said earlier, you keep sleeping on the terps and pay more attention to how one, if not both, of your blue chippers this year will be in the NBA next year and not in Durham...

PLEASE... let's make a bet... PLEASE!
Both Humphries and Deng will be at Duke. PLEASE make a bet with me. I don't know if you want to though... remember what happened last time? NCM = ACC ROY! I'll tell you what... Duke had 3 guys who were closer to ACC ROY than NCM was buddy.
And your upgrades????
Blake > Gilchrist
Nicholas > McCray or Jones
McCall = NCM
Randle > Garrison, Fofana or Ibekwe
Holden > Garrison, Fofana or Ibekwe

Give Garrison, Jones, and Gilchrist one season, and they'll be better than Randle Nicholas, and Blake
And...
NCM is better than McCall.

nate..you are silly (or just plain stoned) with your comparisons...
btw, who would you say had a more productive season, NCM or SHAV?
and who were the 3 dookies that were closer to ACC ROY than Nik?
FYI: if David Stern and his possee get their age limit enacted...look for one or both of the dookie recruits to bolt...I mean, why wouldn't they? If they don't go this year, they are stuck until the are 20...

1) NCM
2) Did Duke HAVE 3 rookies? Oh yeah, that guy named Dockery who everone thought was good, but only played like 5 minutes a game.
DT is once again right.

Of course Shav did... IN LESS MINUTES...
He averaged more points and rebounds than NCM.
JJ, Shelden and Shav were all closer to ACC ROY than NCM.
Why wouldn't they make the jump? Maybe because their care about a college education. Novel idea...

DT is once again right.
Shelden Williams (2nd team all rookie), JJ Redick (1st team all Rookie) and Shav were all clearly better than NCM.
Look up the stats guys. Shav had better stats IN LESS MINUTES, nonetheless.

If Caner-Medley had shot more, you would've seen better numbers.

The same can easily be said for Shav. If Shav played as much as NCM did... he would have put up far better numbers than NCM.
You wanna refute what else I said?

shav sure was producing big number from that duke bench late in the season, huh? and don't give me this bull**** about him being injured because he was jumping up and down like a maniac during the ncaa tournament with the rest of the bench warmers...
face it..your boy was a complete bust this season...who knows what he will do in the future, but he didn't live up to even half the hype that he had coming in...

LOL... complete bust, eh?
He was injured until the NCAA tournament. By then, he was out of shape (similar to Sean May) and wouldn't have been 100%.
Well that complete bust had a better year than ANY of your freshmen. Man... you must have some sucky freshmen!
