Dahntay Jones... Josh Howard... Jackie Manuel... hell, even his teammate BJ Elder has shown better defense than McHenry.
Do you really expect the 7th or 8th man on a team to get ACC DPOY?
Dahntay Jones has either contained or shut down... Josh Howard X2, BJ Elder, Rashad McCants, Ed Scott, Drew Nicholas, Tim Pickett and Devin Smith X2 AND he is the best player on the 2nd best team in the ACC and the #5 team in the country. It's all his.

Actually bud, coming from a tech fan, T-Mac has played better defense than anyone on the Tech team. He's scrappy and always goes for the ball.

You're not understanding the point. There is no way in hell McHenry gets it. A reserve on a mediocre team will never get ACC DPOY. If he is such a damned good defensive player, shouldn't he be starting?
I'd be damned surprised if he got 1 vote for ACC DPOY. Elder will get more.

Even so... Hewitt is a moron if he doesn't start his best defensive player. He could just sit around on offense, and pass the ball.
