1. Shawshank Redemption
2. Office Space
3. Indiana Jones - Trilogy
4. Swingers
5. The Others / Sixth Sense (tie ... very similar to each other)
6. Ferris Bueller's Day Off
7. Aliens
8. Glengarry Glen Ross
9. The Odd Couple (Original)

Loved that movie, too. Very unique premise, and it satired a "reality show" even before reality shows became big.

A great movie, no doubt. But, I don't think I can use the word 'enjoyable'. I found it disturbing. But, it was definitely effective. What a cast...see what happens when you get people who can act?

Quote:6. Ferris Bueller's Day Off

D'OH! Certainly this is better than X-Men 2. How about top dozen movies, instead of 'top 10'.

I'll add Ferris Bueller and Pee Wee's Big Adventure to my list.

Quote:7. Aliens

Wow, a Paul Reiser fan! I liked Diner better. 03-wink

Absolutely. The cast is what sets this movie to the high level it does. Pacino, Lemmon, Spacey, Arkin, and Ed Harris... all on top of their game with David Mamet's screenplay (Sadly, Mamet's recent stuff has really stunk). And Alec Baldwin's 10-minute rant was great.

The Boiler Room tried to be GGR, but didn't quite live up to it.

Have you ever seen The Spanish Prisoner? Highly recommendable.

Vertigo was OK for a Hithcock but I prefered North by North West, Dial M for Murder, and The Man who knew to Much(?). THe Birds was OK.....couldn't get into Psycho.

Amelie sucked...but maybe its beacsue I don't get into Foregin Films that much. I did like Swimming Pool however and that French Kung Fu Version of THree Muskateers was pretty cool. Well I do like a lot of foreign karate movies.

..Strange Brew was pretty funny.

Not ALL Jackie Chan movies.... Twin Dragons anyone?

Sean Connery Bonds....well I think Roger More had a few good ones and so did Pierce Brosnan. Yet when you think of Bond...Connery is first.

**********************

YUP, Jurassic Park was a classic. I liked 2 up till they left the island towards San Diego. 3 .well.. I got it for free so....

Back to the Future...well I'll give you 1 and 2..but NOT 3.
