I know we had this discussion a while back, so I thought I'd show you a guy who believes college players shouldn't be paid. Texas Tech WR Jarrett Hicks, a great student and First Team All-Big XII player, had this (among other things) to say about this issue:

"We already get a monthly stipend which is more than enough. But most of all, our education is priceless....That free education is big for a lot of college athletes who wouldn’t even be in college if not for their athletic ability. So don’t pay athletes. We make it with what we have, which in some cases is more than most."

At some places, like Ohio State, that stipend is more than you see at other places. :D
