Business is booming and hiring!
The REGULATION business, that is. Of course, the hiring is being done by the government. Maybe that's what O is talking about when he says they are focused like a laser on jobs, jobs, jobs. Code for "Gubmint jobs."

Regulation Business, Jobs Booming Under Obama

Quote:If the federal government's regulatory operation were a business, it would be one of the 50 biggest in the country in terms of revenues, and the third largest in terms of employees, with more people working for it than McDonald's, Ford, Disney and Boeing combined.

Under President Obama, while the economy is struggling to grow and create jobs, the federal regulatory business is booming.

Regulatory agencies have seen their combined budgets grow a healthy 16% since 2008, topping $54 billion, according to the annual "Regulator's Budget," compiled by George Washington University and Washington University in St. Louis.

That's at a time when the overall economy grew a paltry 5%.

Meanwhile, employment at these agencies has climbed 13% since Obama took office to more than 281,000, while private-sector jobs shrank by 5.6%.

Cue our liberals to distort the issue by asking why we want to pollute the waters and air, etc. in 3, 2, 1. Reasonable regulation is one thing. Runaway regulation strangles business and the economy. Everybody can see it except those who choose not to because they believe in this crap or they spend their time and energy shilling for those that push these policies on the country.

This administration wants everybody to either be dependent on government or working for it.

Wait a second, with all of this growth in government, shouldn't there be someone to regulate them?

We'll need regulators to regulate the other regulators. Kind of like that perpetual energy machine. Well, maybe not so much.

Notice how "BIG (anything)" is sooooo bad, but Big Government is good - at least to one segment of our population.

Actually, the regulators for that are US at the voting booth. The statists are busily working on how to deny us our say, as we speak.

Didn't Obama say he didn't understand what was going on, just a couple months back?

Well, it's not hard to figure out.
