Detroit leads by 1 at halftime. Pretty close game. In the 2nd qtr the Pistons controlled the tempo and went out to a 5 point lead, but the Heat picked up the pace late and pulled within 1.
Detroit 44
Miami 43
Halftime
2nd half should be pretty good. If the Heat don't take over in the 3rd qtr, this game is gonna go down to the wire and the Pistons will have a chance to steal one in Miami.

Wade did not play very good against Detroit in the regular season either. Last year Kobe didn't play great against the Pistons in the final either. The Pistons are the best team in the NBA in terms of being able to shut down star players. Nobody, and I mean nobody, can stop Shaq when he wants to play. Larry Brown knows that and concentrates on stopping the other top players like Wade this year and Kobe last year. In a 7 game series it is tough to win with one star getting his points and the other players struggling. This is how Detroit beat the Lakers last year and it is how they hope to beat Miami this year.
Wade is a great player and if he doesn't allow the Pistons to frustrate him and if he doesn't force things he can do good enough to lead Miami to the series victory. However, that is easy enough to say but hard to do. Tayshaun Prince can really frustrate you with that long reach and his tight defense he plays. Wade got frustrated in Game 1, as Kobe did all series last year. Wade is the key to the series, not Shaq.
Miami is capable of winning this series in 6 or even 7 games still (I don't think they can sweep the next 4). However, if Detroit can continue to play that kind of defense and continue to control the tempo of the game I would not be surprised to see Detroit win it in 5 or 6 games either.
