Historically, Penn State has a higher avg attendance than Ohio State. Beaver Stadium has a higher capacity. It is only in very down years for PSU or national title years for OSU that Ohio has a higher avg attendance. The only years I could find dating back to '95 where OSU had a higher average attendance was in 2004 [very down year, PSU] and 2000 [very up year, OSU, took 106% capacity to edge out PSU]

You didn't specify a time span though. Last year's averages were just as valid of an answer as the average for the fifty years (though obviously one is more "historically" accurate).

I'm not really in the running for the iPod anyways, so it's fine, but you might want to keep that in mind if a similar question is posed down the proverbial road. :D

Ohio Stadium just had a huge renovation which put its capacity over 100K. Does Beaver Stadium hold tha many? I thought it was around 92K when I was there a few years ago.

That's why I think Ohio Stadium may consistenly pass Beaver these days.
