I realize that the ACC is known as the Basketball Conference (except for FSU that is). Maybe with the hiring of Leonard, FSU can compete with ya'll one day.

What I would like to know is, does anyone else on this forum follow College Baseball??? The ACC was the BEST conference in baseball last year, till we got to the super regionals. Clemson, FSU, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech were definitely HOT last year and I don't see it slacking off for the coming Baseball year.

With the pro baseball strike that almost happened again this year, Florida State got 2 players that we were sure were gonna go pro. One was our ace pitcher, Matt Lynch.

Sure hope I don't have to go elsewhere to chat with other College Baseball Fans

This forum was actually rockin' during the ACC tourney and the regionals.

Also, I don't think UNC did too badly either last year (else you forget a SWEEP of Florida State). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> We almost beat South Carolina in their regional... and of course, you see how far they went.

And you're right ... I forgot about UNC sweeping FSU. Ouch, I just looked up the old scores. Kudos to UNC.

I got into a "friendly fight" <img border="0" alt="[laugh]" title="" src="graemlins/laughing.gif" /> with a Gamecock over how good they weren't... hehehe. The guy quit talking to me for a while, which I thought was even funnier. After Stephen Drew, shortstop, healed from his broken foot, got back into the lineup, FSU went on a roll. Beating Clemson at their place seemed to impress him. It sure impressed me.

Florida State's season starts on January 31, 2003. UNC comes to Tallahassee the last weekend in March.

Oh, I just spotted where the ACC tournment will be this year... in Salem, Virginia.
