Why is Kansas in a BCS conference for football? Just because their B-Ball is good doesn't mean squat. I found this thread on the Kansas Rivals board and some of their fans are pissed that they have such a hard OOC schedule. They play Toledo, Tulsa, and Northwestern for chryst sakes! I know Toledo scares the hell out of most teams given our success against schools like Purdue, Penn State, Minnesota, and Pittsburgh. 03-wink

Don't forget Dook! They can't even get the cheerleaders to show up for the games!

Average attendance = 5! :chair:

:laugh: To build tradition, you have to go out and play the big boys. Those are better teams than the cupcakes that KU usually schedules, but still. How about a team like Colorado State who plays Colorado, USC, Minnesota, and Miami of Ohio (the last three all won 10+ gms last year) this year?

Seems like Kansas may be a team on the rise, they had a *decent* year last season, but they should probably stick to playing cupcakes and build more confidence in their program.

Kansas has a football team? LOL :laugh:

Seriously, I think Kansas is a team on the rise. They've got a great QB in Whittemore, a good coach in Mangino, and they play in the very over-rated Big Fraud (12).

Blind squirrel --> acorn

Tech has won 14 of the last 16, holds a considerable all-time lead.... and frankly... as far as all-time programs go mentioning Duke in the same sentence as Georgia Tech (Top 10 all time) is blasphemy.

Whittemore was a senior last year. They will be playing a new QB this year.

Really? I was thinking he was a junior last season.

No, he was a senior. Kansas fans think he has a shot at playing in the CFL this fall.
