Final score: Northwestern 40, Purdue 39 :snore:
Is there any question that the Big 10 is a JV conference?

The Big Ten is having two down years in a row. Big deal. In the late 90's they were the best conference in the nation. Low scoring does not mean bad. If you ever watch the Big Ten, they don't give up layups. Period. They would tackle the guy before giving up a layup. It is by far the most physical conference in the nation. In the ACC, players are so worried about foul trouble that they give up bunnies all the time.

Speaking of not scoring, your Buckeyes have 44 pts with 3 mins left and are trailing Wiscy by 28. Ouch.

First of all, Wisconsin is a great team, and Devin Harris should be getting NPOY recognition. Second of all, eight Buckeye players had two fouls at halftime, and the Buckeyes were called for 32 fouls overall. They were in the game until about 15:00 in the second, when because of foul problems they were playing third string guys. They never could play their game. But props to Bo Ryan.

Devin Harris is really good but you have to be the only person in the world (other than maybe his parents) that think he should be mentioned in the same sentence with people like Emeka Okafor and Jameer Nelson, or Josh Childress for that matter.

Considering the fact he plays in a defense oriented conference where points are not as abundant as the ACC or SEC or Pac 10, there is no reason he should not be up there with those guys.

Get real, if anyone in the big ten is deserving of POY hype its Kris Humphries but he plays on an awful team so its moot.
Nothing against Devin Harris he is a really good player but he is not NPOY material and I dont think you could find anyone outside of Wisconsin who thins he is.
Anyone else care to chime in on this?

Third in the conference in scoring and first in assists, and that doesn't even begin to tell the story. His leadership and defensive skills are excellent. Look at Wisconsin. Take him off and they are borderline tourney team. I am not saying he is the NPOY, but he is top 6-8.
