I guess you may interpret it as you wish. I saw a player standing perfectly still, hands straight up in the air, did not move and he gets called for a block. And Duhon did not move laterally across the player. He hit his right shoulder. I am perfectly willing to admit that UNC got the calls when they were on top. Duke gets them now.

But if B2(UVA PLAYER) establishes position ahead of A1(DUHON) and A1 initiates contact, then the ruling should be a charging call.

It really is one of the most missed calls in the game IMHO. For all teams. How many times do you see a kid leave his feet and another kid moves into position where he will land and the kid with the ball gets called for the charge. Floppier made a living doing it. I guess if you are going to get the call, go for it.

Agree about interpreting it as you wish...

Duhon was moving away from the basket (therefore moving laterally across the defender) and hit the guy's shoulder... Didn't even hit his torso.

I will say that it was borderline either way, but to infer that it was a missed call is just wrong.
