I watched the game, Detroit is a really impressive team, they play fantastic defense. I assume you dont watch much NBA basketball, holding the Lakers to just 75 points is pretty impressive. If you watched the game you would have seen that the Lakers (other than Shaq) had no easy shots, the Pistons contested everything. Nobody gave Detroit a prayer in this series but Larry Brown is an incredible coach and he has the weapons to get it done. The Lakers are the superior team but if they play every game like they did last night (nobody in double digits other than Shaq and Kobe) they dont have a chance in this series.

Even though the Lakers lost Game 1, the Lakers will rebound in Game 2, I love the Lakers, I think Shaq and Kobe will get another title. I predict Lakers will win in 6 or 7 gms

We are also lucky to be 25-6 all-time against NIU and to not have lost to them since 1989!

Nope....all luck. Just like the Lakers in game 1.

Interestingly, luck doesn't seem to make a bit of difference...only the win does.

Maybe that is why NIU can't beat Toledo...their math is a little fuzzy. The Lakers luck was Game 2, not 1.
