Guess who's back (back, back), back again (again, again), Jenibu's back (back, back), Tell a friend, Guess who's back, guess who's back, guess who's back, guess who's back, guess who's back....

FINALLY! But not fully...

My old computer became gay, and I wasn't able to use the internet for the past 2 months (in terms of just how gay it became, the modem died and was replaced, but either the operating system or motherboard was damaged still so we turned to getting a new computer). Anyway, it took until Dec. 26th for us to buy a new computer, and guess what- I STILL CAN'T CONNECT TO THE INTERNET! We don't know what the problem is this time, but the computer can't detect the modem and won't connect to the internet. So, I am now at my dad's computer at work.

I tried logging in my old name, but I don't have the password here, and the stupid thing wouldn't email me the confirmation code. Hopefully I can recover my old name.

Anyway, I have missed all of you, and I hope you didn't think I died or something. What has been going on here since I left? Someone fill me in please!

As for me, not too much has happened while I haven't been able to inform you all of it;

I turned 16 :)
I got my braces off :D
Adrian Branch came to my school
The Terps beat the #1 team in the country on their homefloor :D
Duke lost to Purdue :D
I saw Pete Gillen
Christmas happened!

So there you go. Hopefully I will be able to return to normal soon. :D

It's a driver issue. Find the correct driver for the modem ... put it on the hard drive.

Right click on "My Computer"

Go to properties. Find and open Hardware Manager.

Find your modem... or something with a big yellow question mark.

Right click... go to properties. You can install the new driver from there.

Windows is a total piece of crap when it comes to drivers, especially on the generic crap major computer dealers like Compaq and HP push.

Thanks GTS :D- I'll try that when I get home and hopefully it will solve the problem. Any ideas as to why NCAAbbs.com won't email me the confirmation code for Jenibu?

May be a lag in the e-mail system in which case it'd take a few minutes.

Alright, I got my name back now. :D

Hopefully I will be able to use the internet at home soon, but if I don't return for a while it's because of that.

Turns out the modem was knocked loose in shipping or something so the computer wasn't able to detect it at all. All is well now, hopefully...
