"The war hero kicks the Deserter in the Nards"

When I read the post header for this thread, I thought it had something to do with John McCain kicking George W's arse!

McCain is as qualified as Clark is. Both are actual war heroes. Neither are deserters.

I live in MS and the majority of voters here vote mainstream Republican every time. So, my vote for McCain in the '00 primary was a wasted vote and I knew it but I just couldn't bring myself to vote for that idiot George W. Bush!

I might add here that I thought George W. was an idiot before the Iraq invasion was even being planned! I knew he'd win the '00 election because the electorate historically chooses the dumber candidate available!

Maybe we can get McCain and Clark to run together and represent all of the folks who are sick of the extremists on both sides?

McCain and Clark are as different as night and day...McCain may actually be a liitle more honest (initially) than Clark as McCain was never (as far as rank) in the postiions that Clark has been in...I would say that Clark might know how to play "military politics" somewhat better.....

The problem is that the Dems really dont have a great candidate and many who voted for the current pres are going to find that difficult to do again in 04...The longer the campaign goes on..the more Clark is sounding like a politician.. Dean seems to come across even more arrogant than Kerry..the rest of the bunch are just hanging on...barely..

This is going to be like the election of 2000....difficult to chose who to vote for as I do not like the way the current pres comes across , Dean is coming off as an arrogant MD ..Kerry is just swinging at anything, Clark is questionable regarding just what he knows as far as becoming or being a president...its a mess for sure...or at least I think so as there is no clear cut leader out of the entire bunch..

Who will be the Prez? And I am not so sure that those two could work together. Of course, Billary and Albie made that a moot point.

Reading comprehension would help. He's claiming that he wouldn't have lost focus on who the folks were who actually attacked this country. This would have allowed our great military to actually go after Bin Laden and his gang instead of fighting a war over completely unrelated reasons. Personally, I believe that with our military might and technology, any leader with the will to destroy Al Queda could do so in a reasonable amount of time. I also believe that doubting that disrespects the military much more than your imagined insult by Clark.

In other words, Bush has dropped the ball again, just like he has his entire life.

Soooooo, we just walk into Pakistan, right Einstein? Yeah, Clark has ALL the answers. Intelligence has a good idea that he is in an an Western part of of Pakistan and Mushareff has already had about 6 attempts on his life, not to mention that Pakistan is a nuclear nation. What else could be expected from the general who almost declared war on Russia in the Balkans by launching an attack on a Russian-held airport.

Bush hasn't dropped any balls. The United States is doing great and you libs can't stand it.

Let me rephrase.....he almost launched an attack to recapture the airport. Our allies, however, refused. Thank God.

Yep, that's it.

I guess if supporting a deserter while denigrating a war hero makes sense to you, then no amount of facts and logic will sway you. Go team, go!

Have you ever noticed that the Cons on this site just launch one logical fallacy after another, despite our repeated attempts to point out that fallacious arguments were dismissed 2000 years ago for a reason. . .?

I'd still like to hear what the board "vet" has to say about AWOL Dumbya vs. 4 star Clark. I can't get that kind of entertainment for free anywhere else! :D

I'm waiting for that myself. The best they've come up with that I have heard so far is "he's not very tall, is he?"

Can you imagine a debate where the deserter (p)resident has to address Wesley Clark by his title?

"Well, yes GENERAL, it is true that we used WMD's as a justification for America's first preemptive war, yet none were ever found, but..."

Is there irony in that? I don't recall ever hearing that Clark shirked his duties in any way. Maybe I missed it...

Maybe Clark can wear indicted war criminal Ratko Mladic's hat during the debate!

Yeah yeah yeah.....and Clinton was a draft-dodger and I would have STILL went to a just war if he'd have ordered me to.

I am not the only board vet. Navydoc is a vet and Grandfunkrailroad is a Vietnam veteran that served with 1st Cav in some of the bloodiest fighting in the war. Why don't you ask him how he feels about GW Bush. I'm sure you will be disappointed.
