Another great man who I'll miss.

Rest in Peace Mr. Charles. He was a great man that took his negatives and turned them into positives. Funny that it takes a blind man to see what's good in the country.

BTW, long time no see neighbor.

I had the privilege to see him perform at a summer concert at the Tivoli while I was studying in Copenhagen. The crowd absolutely loved him there.
It is a sad day indeed. :(

I'm a huge deadhead. When Jerry Garcia died, it was a significant time of mourning among Deadheads - a real shot in the gut.

My mom sent me an email yesterday that said, simply, "Remember how you felt when Jerry Garcia died? That's how I feel right now."

Ray Charles was a phenomenal musician. If you don't know who he is, I strongly suggest you go find out just how good he was. It's worth your time.

you mean, when the Ravens beat my beloved Giants? i was punished because i got a C in one of my classes, so i couldn't watch the super bowl, even though the giants are my favorite team.

I believe that commercial has to be near the top of everyone's list of best commercials ever.

There are only 2 versions of Georgia On My Mind that you will ever hear. One is by Michael Bolton, the other (and much better) version is by Ray Charles.
