Has anyone here read it, or is anyone in the process of reading it, or does anyone have a child who is reading it? I just finished it tonight, and it was a great book. It took me a week to finish, but I'm sure I could have finished it much faster if I hadn't deliberately been trying to make it last as long as possible. I tried to stretch it out, but being an impatient and fast reader didn't help. It satisfied me though- answered a lot of questions and as JK Rowling said, became "darker" than previous books.
So, if anyone here is not afraid to admit to reading Harry Potter (I don't think you should be, but I have heard of adults covering the books with, well, book covers, on the train) I would like to hear your take on the book, or what you have finished of it. :)

I always liked "Goosebumps" and "Fear Street" as I got a little older.
Haven't read any Harry Potter books yet.

I'm reading it!
Just got it here about two days ago, and I have only made it as far as like 150 (not that I read slow - i just don't make all that much time for reading). But so far, it's good. I read 1-4 two Novembers ago, so I'm having a hard time remembering some things, but I keep HP 4 close for reference, lol

The books are the best.
My grandma got me the new book for my birthday last week, and I am picking it up tomorrow.
I can't wait to start reading it.

I used to think that when the books first came out and were popular among my peers; then again, I hadn't read them. I started reading them when my aunt and uncle got the first three for me two Christmases ago.... that was also the year they gave me a wand and a wizard hat....
And I agree Hoops, Harry Potter=beast
