Is the Music Companies now going after many people on Kazaa? If so, what are they doing? Should I be nervous? What are some other options where I can download LOTS of music outside of MIRC

even if you still use kazaa, dont worry...there's 3.5 million people on it
the riaa stopped going after the makers of the programs themselves because they CAN'T stop them -- they won't be able to stop people from downloading unless they start nabbing tens of thousands of kazaa users, which we all know wont happen

The RIAA is full of idiots, I guess I cant speak for everyone but as for me, downloading music makes me more likely to buy a cd. I get exposed to music I wouldnt listen to otherwise, I download stuff and if I like it ill go buy the CD. I cant stand mixes and all that garbage (dont ask why cause I couldnt really tell you) and alot of times it is hell trying to download every song from a specific album. So once I get a taste for a band I go buy it. I know that MP3 CD players are fairly cheap now but IMO I would rather have a CD with 12 or so songs on than try to remember what track number out of 300 or so the song I want to hear is. I hope this make sense to someone. The bottom line is I have purchased more CDs since MP3s became popular. Also, it doesnt make any sense to try and stop something that is unstobable like file sharing. Its just bad business.
