First he says that he'll accept any punishment because he committed the crime.

Next, he appeals the crime.

Remember everyone, this is the guy that "will voluntarily take a steroids test" and then get offended when someone calls his bluff.

I got this quote from another site..

I'm a huge baseball fan, but, after the World Series was cancelled and greed from the players and owners about killed the sport, this is just another black eye.
Because of expansion, baseball has players (mainly pitchers) on the big league rosters that should be in AA. Combine that with tighter wound baseballs and Seligs zest to "win back" the fans, no wonder people are hitting 70 homers a year.

Anyone actually watch the All-Star fiasco this year? What a joke!!

I figured that after Sosa backed down from the roid testing, he surely would appeal any suspension he received for using an illegal bat.

Go figure.

The reason he is appealing is for the amount of time the suspension is. And, he's probably doing it so he can play in the Yankees series. If I'm Dusty Baker, I would like to have my number 1 player out there instead of my 10th best.

So what? Whoever he plays shouldn't even be a thought in his head. His reputation forever is on the line....what a joke.
