Breakdown of OS used when accessing http://www.ncaabbs.com :

Linux: 1.298 % (113)
Windows: 78.70 % (6847)
Mac/PPC: 1.160 % (101)
AIX: 0.011 % (1)
Unknown: 18.82 % (1638)

Most of the unknowns are probably obscure Linux distros or MacOSx

I thought Windows would have a higher percent.

Hey LL -- Look what is higher up than Mac

I have OS X on three different machines (450 Cube, 233 PB Wallstreet, 450 G4 Tower). I installed OS X on all three of them during June 2001. I've never had a kernal panic, the OS has never locked up, and my longest uptime was 43 days and the reason for my restart was because an OS update required it. 03-razz

Mandrake Linux 9.0
- Record Uptime: 54 days (**** power outage)
- No crashes (had KDE lock up on me once - but that's as bad as it's ever gotten)
- No kernel panics
- Avg CPU load: 12%
- Avg CPU RAM use: 108 of 512
- Never have I even had to use more than 5 MB of swap memory
- I emulated Excursion (Windows IRC Client) for 20 days before the emulator bugged me about restarting it. I can't make it on Windows running just that program for 3 days. How ironic I can run Windows programs better on a non-windows OS... using Windows dlls none-the-less.
