Let's think of some quality players the Tribe has given up....

Brian Giles - Now with Pirates smackin the CRAP outta the ball...highest paid Pirate(although that's not sayin much is it)

Jeremy Burnitz - Brewers last I heard...slugger

Richie Sexton - Made all star team last year....crushing the ball....

Roberto Alomar - had his most productive season possibly ever...and the indians trade him

Jeff Kent - I think he was an Indian wasnt he?

Juan Gonzalez - slugger that'd be nice to see in Indians uniform again

:::writers block:::

Manny Ramirez - didnt want to pay him...but Boston sure does...and its paying off too

Jim Thome - Phillies....his choice to leave

Albert Belle - lucky they got rid of him just in time....before his career ending injury

Bartolo Colon - PLAIN STUPIDITY

need some help I know theres gotta be more :bang:

Burnitz(sp?) is with the Mets now.

That is a pretty bad list.

Don't forget Sean Casey and Russ Branyan with the Reds, and Kenny Lofton. Seems like there are even more...

Also...... David Justice had one and a half good years after the Tribe traded him. Plus they lost Zach Day who looks like he could be a good pitcher.

Day pitched a great game against the Braves. Seems this guy could be pretty good.

The Braves have let go of a few studs themselves. Here are just a few.

1B Ryan Klesko: 59 Hr's over last two years

2B Bret Boone: Nearly won MVP award in 01', drove in 107 runs last year

1B Randall Simon: .301, 19, 82 last year

SP Tom Glavine: Left by his own choice; Mets ace

SP Kevin Millwood: Traded in salary dump; Phillies ace

C/3B Tyler Houston: Solid backup, could be starting over Javy Lopez

RP Chris Hammond: 0.95 ERA in 02', signed with Yankees

RP Mike Remlinger: 1.99 ERA in O2', signed with Cubs

Like i said that's only some of them.

Maybe not, but think how good we'd be with Klesko and Boone in our lineup. Or even Simon and Boone.
