Here's a short run-down on the most likely content, format, and info on the first show.

Time: 4 PM EST to 5 PM EST
Date: Wednesday, February 19 (hopefully)
Where: http://www.wmucsports.com -- free for all to stream

We need 8 to 10 people to call in / write things to really have a good show.

Right now we will strictly cover the ACC, MAC, and SEC.

----- Top Teams: We will probably give team coverage to the top (most active) 3 Team Forums on NCAAbbs. Right now this would be:
#1) Georgia Tech
#2) Mississippi
#3) North Carolina
#4) (on bubble to take slot) Kent State
#5) (on bubble to take slot) Maryland

Footnotes: I'm disgusted with the poor participation globally on team forums. :(

----- Commentary: If you can call in / write commentary, please please please please do so. You don't have to be an Einstein folks. We need at least 8, with a maximum right now of 10 to see how the flow of the show dictates the amount of material needed. It could be anything... NCAA tourney bubble watch... recruiting... teams on the rise nationally or in a conference.... ANYTHING!! We'd really appreciate it if we had commentary on the teams showcased in the top forums bit. Right now, this would be GT, UM, and UNC

Personal Commentary Slot 1 - Ga. Tech) untaken
Personal Commentary Slot 2 - Ole Miss) untaken
Personal Commentary Slot 3 - UNC) untaken
Personal Commentary Slot 4) JoltinJacket
Personal Commentary Slot 5) untaken
Personal Commentary Slot 6) untaken
Personal Commentary Slot 7) untaken
Personal Commentary Slot 8) untaken
Personal Commentary Slot 9) untaken
Personal Commentary Slot 10) untaken

----- Face Off: We need two typical arguing sides on the boards to sound off over an issue. Round One: Each person has 90 seconds to air their side of the argument. Round Two: Each person has 15 seconds closing time. The listeners then vote via AOL/AIM.

My suggestions for good matchups on this:
- Nate vs. Any ACC fan
- Oddball vs. Any Marshall fan
- Any Toledo fan vs. Any Marshall fan
- Any Georgia fan vs. Any Georgia Tech fan
- Any UNC fan vs. Any Duke fan

----- Air-Time for the "name the show" contest winner: TBA

------------------------------------------------------------

Please post on this thread if you would like to contribute in any way. Folks... it's your show to run is what it boils right down to. If you let it sit there, and the show flops after three tries.... there will be no show, or attempt at another show for some time.

Take it and run, or drop the ball. The choice is yours.

Please, only serious people that can contribute nearly every week apply. Obviously we would need to be told in advance if you cannot do commentary if you sign up, so we can find a fill-in.

I'm still doing my 5 hoops teams in decline piece. It might not make it in by the 4pm deadline tomorrow, but it'll be in sometime tomorrow afternoon. I won't be one of those that's able to call in and actually do the piece myself, so it will have to read in studio.
