Well, 10 days before T-Mac did, Iverson privately called MJ to offer to give up his starting spot for MJ. T-Mac was getting all sorts of credit for this, but now it seems Iverson was the first to do it.

THUG!

Say what you want about him (and i'm not his biggest fan) but that was a classy thing to do.

Good to know Vince has a good reason for not giving it up. He says it would insult the fans.

Quote:"Everybody is entitled to their opinion,'' Carter said Friday. "I think sometimes they just say it without sitting back and thinking, 'OK, why is he making that decision?' There is a reason why, and it's the million-plus people that voted for me.''

When asked for his thoughts on the gestures from Iverson and McGrady, Carter said, "Good for them.''

I like Iverson, even though he is a thug 03-razz , and that was a classy gesture on his part.
