That was a really nasty injury to see. His lower leg looked like it got completely dislocated and got bent sideways. That's going to be really tough for him to be ready to play by late August. One thing's for sure - you'll definitely see him with the Canes next year and not in the NFL.

Good heavens. Reminds me of a UCLA receiver a few years back (Brian Poli-Dixon I think). His leg got rolled like that and then he got flipped out of bounds by the defender...that sure paints a pretty picture, doesn't it...

It looked really serious on the replay, tough break for WM, hope he returns to form next season!

I wanted to stop him as much as the next Buckeye fan but certainly not like that. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery. I can't see him being 100% in time for next season with three torn ligiments but at least he has 2 years of eligibility left.
Hopefully he can recover better than Joe Montgomery (former OSU running back that was VERY promising but blew out a knee) and shine during his senior season.

Update:
According to the Docs who operated on him, McGahee only tore 2 ligaments instead of three...
"Doctors found torn anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments but no tear to the posterior collateral ligament. Assistant coach Don Soldinger said Saturday that McGahee had torn all three ligaments."

Still nothing to cheer about, but better than was first thought.
