Cal St. Fullerton beat Texas 3-2 earlier today to sweep the best-of-3 series over Texas. It was the first baseball title for the Titans since 1995.

That will teach ya to put any money down on UT ever. I thought it would be way closer than it was. Texas's two strengths (their D and bullpen) let them down in the final two games. They played horrible. I believe they had 6 errors in those 2 games and they didn't have as many as 6 errors in any other series this year. They should be proud of themselves for making it that far. The funniest thing is people calling UT crappy when their teams didn't make it close to as far as they did. Congrats horns on a great season

Congrats.
Texas is becoming the same thing in baseball that they are in football. Overrated chokers.

Thats a surprise, Congrats to CSF, they really beat some solid teams en route to the title.
Thats the 4th title for the Titans they are one championship away from being tied up with Arizona State, Texas and LSU for second on the alltime list with 5 NCs, USC has 14 which is by far the most ever!

Congrats to the Titans...they completely outplayed us and deserved to win. Yes, we did win the CWS in 2002 and hope to be back for another try next year. While 2nd Place isn't bad, that is not what this team really aimed for...and with our final loss in the CWS came a lot of disappointment.
GDawgs88--
You guys got a helluva team. I will not be shocked at all to see y'all back in the CWS next year. I really hope that Georgia fans do not have a negative opinion on Texas fans. There were a bunch of Arkansas and LSU fans on our bulletin boards for the last couple of weeks completely trashing our school and our team...saying we'd be fortunate to finish 5th in the SEC. Unfortunately, Dawg fans got caught in the middle of that mess and for that, I'm truly sorry.

Arkansas and LSU fans talking trash, I'm shocked!!! Who woulda thought those idiots would talk about Texas' horrible baseball program!
Congrats to the Longhorns. Y'all played some great ball and I really thought y'all would take the title. But there can only be one winner.
There is always one constant with college baseball, UTexas in Omaha.
