OK, you can have baseball. But, next year, your big 2 will both be just downright bad.

So we're talking about football and men's basketball, right?

Football should be better than this past year -- although playing in a tougher ACC will make us look worse than we are. But I still think we win more than 3 games. You forget that we were 3-5 in games with Darian Durant (and close to winning 3 or 4 of those losses). We have an extra year of experience where it counts -- on the offensive and defensive lines -- and we aren't losing much there. We're putting top recruits at the places where we lose the most: WR. I look for it to be a better year.

Men's basketball could be great if everybody stays (I don't think any of us has a clue if that will happen or not). The only seniors we're losing are Johnson and Holmes. And everyone will have another year of experience and growing together as a team. I don't know what that will result in, but "downright bad" isn't quite what I'm expecting.

Hmmm... most people seem to think UNC will be 8th or 9th in the conference next year in football. If that isn't downright bad...

men's basketball... things will happen before next season starts... that's all I'll say right now. hint: ticking time bomb

Well, why even play the season? Let's just pencil in the standings now and save everyone the trouble of those silly games....

Well of course preseason predictions dont mean diddly, except it's what everyone thinks will happen, and they are very often right.

You can think Carl Torbush for that.
