Alright - teams are still as is.
There will be no evening of teams due to the nature of this challenge.
Your challenge: Sink the enemy fleet before they sink you!
Here is a reference graphic you can print out for game play and use to keep track of things.
The rules: Teams take turns shooting. The team must name the coordinate they aimed at using the grid system above.
If a team scores a hit, they go again. If they miss, it is then the other team's turn.
I have created battle fleets on a grid system for both teams. Somebody from each team will need to step up and be responsible for giving me an e-mail address to e-mail their fleet to. That team member is then responsible for distributing it to the others.
The teams will be responsible for calling hit and misses on their own. LIEING AND SAYING THEY MISSED WHEN IT IS A HIT OR VISE VERSA WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION.
You get one shot at a time.
Teams will have ONE Nuke. They have to clearly say they are using it when they post. (i.e. something like Nuclear Weapon - grid coordinate A32). If a nuke hits a ship directly, it is immediately sunk. If a nuke lands beside a ship, the square DIRECTLY adjacent is counted as a hit. So if a nuke lands just in front of say the cruiser... the front of that ship is hit. If it lands beside the cruiser, the square directly across (NOT diagonal) is hit.
If a team does not respond to a shot fired upon them within 12 hours, I will answer for them, and the team that had to wait all that time will get an additional Nuke.
Edited posts are invalid.
The challenge starts at 7 AM EST Tuesday. Teams are responsible for getting their fleet before that time. Also, ALL questions about game play and rules must be asked before that time, otherwise the rules as-is stand.
Good luck.
