Big Case....how about the fact that Maryland leads the all-time series with Duke 26-18? Does that mean that we can talk a little smack with you guys? Or is that meaningles? And how about the fact that we actually have 9 ACC titles and you have 7? We are not tied as you speculated. Does that mean anything? How about the fact that we've been to 17 bowl games and Duke has been to 8? We still have no room to talk when it comes to tradition? How about our national title? I don't think you really know much about Maryland's football history. It seems to me that you only know about the last 10 years....during which time we hold a 20 win advantage over you guys. (MD 45-66, Duke 25-86)

BUT...Dook is 12-57 overall and 6-50 in the ACC over the last 7 years, including 0-22 in the 21st century. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

I can't argue that they had a great past, but that kind of record is pathetic especially for an ACC team. The attendance is even worse. When you get about 11,000 for your homecoming game and half of those are the opposing fans, that is ridiculous.

8/31 vs. East Carolina
--- Thorough butt-whoopin

9/7 vs. Louisville
--- Slaughter

9/14 @ Northwestern
--- Thorough butt-whoopin

9/21 @ Florida State
--- Call 911

9/28 @ Navy
--- 2002 Toilet Bowl. Toughest aspect of the game: finding somebody to televise it. Duke does have a chance though.

10/5 vs. Virginia
--- Respectable beating

10/12 @ Wake Forest
--- Thorough butt-whoopin

10/19 @ North Carolina State
--- Slaughter

10/26 vs. Maryland
--- Slaughter

11/2 vs. Clemson
--- Respectable Trouncing

11/16 @ Georgia Tech
--- Slaughter

11/23 vs. North Carolina
--- Respectable Trouncing

Sorry but the best Duke can hope for is one win. I noticed that somebody put up quite a few players who should help Duke to their first win in, well i don't know how many years but its a lot, and there seems to be a lot of incoming freshman and players that were second string last year. If Duke is relying on incoming freshman to get their first win you guys are in trouble. Duke's so bad they just might finish 10th in the ACC. I know it's a bad joke but come on Duke is HORRIBLE.

Also to whoever mentioned that Duke has a decent offense, did you notice that they scored most of their points late in the game when the other team was up by multiple touchdowns. You might just get a win next year if you can convince your opponents to play their second string players all game.

Good point, we sell out a lot of games. How hard is it to sell out a 30,000 seat stadium. Your basketball team could sell out a 30,000 seat stadium. As bad as Duke you could pay people to come see them lose and you still wouldn't sell out every game.
