rickheel -- looked at your subject line and was immediately thrilled.

I used that "Thaaaaaaaaaa Yankees lose, thaaaaa Yankees lose" bit on a friend of mine one day after a Yanks loss earlier this year. This is a poor man with no mind of his own who's a bandwagon Yankees/Dook kind of guy and anytime the Yanks win, I definitely hear about it the next day from him.

God, I love being the so-called weaker gender and reducing a big, strapping man to a mass of trembling flesh, whimpering and crying like a beaten puppy.

Elsewhere in Stankee land ...

I can't help but notice that Jason Giambi is now hawking deodorant ... that's great, because ever since he became a Yank, even though his numbers are great and he's still an awesome player, he freakin' stinks in my book.

I mean, really, I'm sorry, but the day the Yanks introduced him, and he's all clean shaven and wearing a suit ... and he's got this weird, not-really-connected look in his eyes. Like he just joined some kind of freakazoid religious cult and the brainwashing had taken full effect (gee, I wonder if I'm far away from the truth on that in certain re$pects).

I miss the scruffy, loveable, kick-azz Jason Giambi of old.
