Terpy,
I have heard of them, I'm just too young to have ever seen them.

I will admit to being a fan of musicals. I've seen many of those that you mentioned on Broadway. I thought Phantom was going to be great. My first cousin was in it and everything. It was OK, but then I saw Les Mis and nothing has compared to it since. Miss Saigon was good, though. I saw Contact and thought it was way overrated.

I'm a real fanatic about Gilbert and Sullivan, however. Listen to it all the time.

As for sexual orientation, what difference does it really make? Be happy with who you are. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

I thought Phantom was great. the music was great, at least. I saw it with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman on broadway, (the only one, wish I could see Les Miz there) and it was flat out amazing. Michael Crawford has a great voice and Sarah Brightman can hit that high C like no one's business. Phantom was a bit predictable, but the music floored me. I have to agree, Les Miz is a masterpiece.

I was pretty young. I was old enough to remember it, but it was probably a good 6-7 years ago.

pooh,
IIRC, I think that performance was what turned me on to music in general, too.

well, since you'd have to go back further than 6 or 7 years to have seen michael and sarah in phantom...

are you not 14...

or did you never really see this...

I don't have a program or anything, I just remember asking my mom "can I go see phantom again with Crawford and Brightman in it when we go to new york?" and she told me that when I saw it earlier that it was with MC and SB. I will injure her if she lied to me. Maybe she was confused, or something, but I will be pissed if it was someone else.

well, since crawford left the show when you were three.... i don't think you saw him once or twice.

also.. a 7 year old asked to see phantom with crawford and brightman?

if you had said you asked to see Disney on Ice.. I MIGHT have believed you.

Nate, honey... come clean. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

No, pooh, I asked my mom recently. We are going to NYC soon and I asked her if I could see phantom with SB and MC, and she told me that I had already seen it with them in it before. That was in about 1994 or so, IIRC. I'll ask her about it in the morning.

crawford has not performed in phantom on broadway since 90!

from his curricula vitae:
Phantom of the Opera, London, New York, and Los Angeles, 1986-1990

I believe you that I didn't see MC and SB live. That kind of pisses me off, though. I probably didn't even care who played Christine and the phantom. Oh well, I have the songs downloaded.

You've found a clue for Survivor Challenge #4, for the N'Sync tribe!

Florida was not one of the schools that was vandalized.

My high school is so dominant when it comes to musicals -- we've gotten huge praise for stuff like Blood Brothers and Sweeney Todd (the demon barber of fleet street)

I like musicals only when they're interesting. <img border="0" alt="[bow]" title="" src="graemlins/bow.gif" />
