Any suggestions for a good gift from a loving husband?

Women always like gifts that make us feel pretty. In the case of expecting mothers (especially those getting close to term), this is even more welcome. How about a gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure and/or facial at a local spa?

Did I miss a pre-birth announcement? Congrats! When's the big day? Wow, new little Terp fans all over the place.
I second Lucy's suggestions for pampering, if that's what she's into. Personally, I'm not into manicures/pedicures, but you would know if that's something she would like or not. Some places also do pregnancy massage, that's more up my alley. Jewelry is always nice. Something with the likely birthstone of the baby, maybe? How about picture frames? I have a cute one that says "I love my mommy" from Baby #1. And a good mushy card is required.
If I can come up with anything else, I'll let you know.
Congrats again, and give my regards to the mom-to be. Sorry, I can't remember her name. Dang!

thanks for the suggestions!
I think I'll take a trip down to this jewelry store tomorrow during lunch. My wife is a bit particular about jewelry & doesn't wear much...but just saturday she said she wish she had more. If I don't see something I think she'll like, I'll get her a day at a spa.
Julester,
The big day is October 3rd. If the baby is a little late, we'll have 3 scorpios driving each other nuts! Thanks for the good thoughts! I'll pass them along to Melissa.

Your Scorpio wife would like to be spoiled for a change. She just seems totally independent. Wait on her. Fix meals. Give her that massage yourself. Give her a nice card that says how much you love her and add that her gift is you for the day - whatever she wants you to do. Who needs jewelry.
Mom's birthday is 10/25/31 so she knows.

My mother is staying with us this weekend...so I can't devote that day entirely to my wife. I am taking her to a spa for the weekend in a few weeks(nothing to do w/ mothers day). Of course, she doesn't need jewelry...just want to spoil her a bit

We went to the Umbria region of Italy a couple of days after we got back from Miami(yes we had quite the jet-set January!). Well Air Aitalia lost what may have been an important peice of luggage. Thus, the nice surprise!

What an awesome story! Now you have to come up with some Italian names for the baby.
