And I must say, I had a great time, seeing the O's lose 7-0 to the Rangers. Mainly because I'm sick of the O's and their now 10-game losing streak, I'm sick of Angelos, and I was sick at the lack of enthusiasm the team played with.
I was also fed up with, quite possibly, the worst call I've ever witnessed. Rookie Pitcher for the Rangers, Aaron M., was 2-4, a 8.2something ERA, and his first 2 pitches to Mora were slightly wild, but then again, he's a rookie, still a little nervous, and he'd get his stroke soon enough. Right?
Wrong, the umpire threw him out of the game after two pitches. Yeah, great. Oh yeah, Stephenson, the O's starting pitcher beaned a guy in the 1st. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" />
I was disappointed Raffy didn't get any hits, but it was also fun, watching the O's nearly lose to the Rangers 7-0 (probably my second favorite team), a no hitter involving three pitchers. Hairston saved the day though, and prevented the O's from being completely embarrassed, by getting one hit off of a guy named Benoit, who did a great job for Texas.
It'll be another 3-4 years before the O's even have a shot at the postseason.
I blame it on Angelos <img border="0" alt="[fridge]" title="" src="graemlins/fridge.gif" />
