We lost 33-6. The only touchdown we got was on a kickoff return, and that only happened because the returner's jersey got pulled out of his shorts and covered up his flags on the rest of the run. At one point I was playing linebacker. I covered a guy out in the flat and I was right with him. It would have been a 5 yard gain, except that as we went for the ball I stepped on his foot. We both kind of stumbled and by the time we recovered he was 10 yards in front of me and gone for a 70 yard touchdown. At one point one of our corners tripped and left a guy uncovered for an 80 yard touchdown. There were three tipped balls, each of which went directly to a player on the opposing team. Two ended up being interceptions for them, and one was a completed pass. Our QB hit one of our lineman in the back of the head on a pass. On one play two of our receivers were running slants from opposites sides of the field. They both closed on a pass over the middle and collided. They both fell down and the ball went straight between them for an incompletion. The only saving grace.....oh wait....there was no saving grace. It was horrible.

Well....we only won 1 game in the spring season. We are MUCH better now that we know whats going on, but this was beyond being good or bad. There was some kind of karma working against us today. At the end of the game we were just shaking our heads, laughing. Oh well. We're now 1-2 and need to win 2 of our next 5 games to get into the playoffs (8 out of 12 teams go and a 3-5 record would definitely get in).

You may want to rethink that kickball thing......
