Dave must be happy to finally be at a university that will allow Jason past the admissions board.

Just curious about one thing, though. I thought there was some kind of rule against transfering in your own conference.

Way to go, Dave!

The SEC does not have a rule against intra-conference transfers.

Remember when Tubby went from Gawjaw to Keeeeeeentucky?

Maybe this is only for football -- or maybe I'm just majorly crossing some wires here -- but I thought it was that you have to sit out one year if it's to a different conference and two years if it's a transfer within a conference.

Then again, I think you can walk on and play immediately.

I also thought I'd heard that the extra year can be waived if the first school agrees to it, though -- for transfers within a conference, I mean.
