A little humor
So I'm catching up on my roots via my grandfather this past week right. And he tells me of a story involving a successful Swedish (my fam came over from Sweden in the 1860's according to him) cobbler. He went by the name of Johnston or some varitation. When he came to the states, he had little education or english. He applied for a gig as a janitor at a Lutheren church. The church not being keen on his lack of education or english prowress, declined his offer. So he went back to his trade as a cobbler. Before long, he built himself a sucessful enterprise in the shoe business, nothing too big, but respectable. A little while later someone asked him, "gee just think where'd you be if had a solid education." He replies, "Yaa, D'I culd da been da janiter at da lutern terch!!" lmfao Education. Priceless.
