Don't encourage him!

Thats all right GrayBeard, I know you are just creating a pipeline of future ECU student athletes :ecu:

My dreams of having my sons play for my alma mater on a sub-standard pathetic excuse of a team were dashed when ECU dropped it's men's soccer team. 03-weeping

Hey, but my daughter could still play for the women's team.

Don't worry, the've got you covered:

I saw that at the Ray Charles exhibit at the Smithsonian American History museum... as the caption says: "Ray Charles enjoyed reading the articles in Braille editions of Playboy magazine and Reader's Digest. The LIbrary of Congress has produced the Braille version of Playboy (without pictures) since 1970.

All I'm saying is that you shouldn't criticize someone for making responsible choices.

In some (not all, but I would venture to say most) cases, a good porn mag could do wonders in prevented unwanted and unsupportable children.

In your case, it may be responsible to have oodles of kids; on the average, however, it isn't.

Since you are so into birth control and anti-kids, I have heard of a method that is proven to prevent pregnancies. Castration...I suggest you try it. 03-idea

I would wager that Grey Beard's kids are both wanted and supported, however.

You know that I generally agree that those who have kids are usually the ones who shouldn't, but from what I have read of GB, he does not seem like the sort who'll enjoy having them pop out and then live in poverty or in a similar bad situation.

Actually, two of my kids are with me at work today (take your kids to work day). The third, my 1 year old, is home with his mother. He would have wrecked this place.

Abstinence is just as effective (and less painful). Honestly, do you think I actually get any?

And they benefit from having both parents still in their life, which by itself puts them on the upper end of the curve.

Nevertheless, given the drain that the increasing population has on our diminishing natural resources, that civilized societies can and should remain at or below the replenishment threshold. Moreover, since he has produced 3 and I'm stuck on zero, it also has a negative effect on society in that it is contributing to the regression of society back to the intellectual mean.
