I'll probabbly throw out a review for Ludacris: Release Therapy in a few days after I digest it.

THoughts so far...

Well it not his best work but is showing a change in styles fromn party rapper to serious rapper. The cd is split up into two halves... the upbeat half and the R & B half.

So far I dig most of the upbeat tracks -- my faves are Money Maker (curent single and video), Girls Gone Wild (its a fast rapping upbeat tune), and Ultimate Satisfaction ( rock upbeat tune). THe tracks that take up the R&B tunes I am still forming opionions on.

Ok.. summation on the hard side of this cd by track

1 Warning ... intro BS skit + song that is basically a bragadocious track
2 Grew Up a Screw Up ..ok... nice beat ok lyrics
3 Money Maker .. Love the beat and has some real good rhymes ..one of my faves
4 Girls Gone Wild ...upbeat rock beat and fast rhyming.... one of my faves
5 Ultimate Satisfaction ...a WOOFER WORK OUT TRACK w/ a rock beat and some good lyrics ... one of my faves
6 Mouths to Feed ..ok beat..ok lyrics... about the rap industry and waht not.. how to make it and take care of your family first.

THe R&B side..
7 End of the Night ..smooth beat and lyrics... basicaly about hooking up ....not bad but not a fave
8 Woozy: WOOFER WORKOUT BEAT good song.... but a little to slow for me.... basically about drinking and hooking up !!
9 Tell IT Like It Is: ok beat and lyrics... basically about How hte industry is and how peopel shoudl do their business and how peopel fail at the business end.
10 War With God: nice beat w/ a R&B chorus ..about people beefing with him... and all talk no action rappers. not to bad but not a fave
11 Doe your Time: about jail and being on lock down .... its a pretty good tune
12 Slap: has a slow jam/ rock riff back beat ..it sounds like a a olde school Snoop Dogg/Dr Dre beatr circa 1992-3 w/ some rock guitar in the background ..kind of a smack talk track and how reality is track

13 Runaway Love: Kind of a sould beat w/a R&B chorus singer in the background... remisnissing on a girl... ok...not a fave of mine
14 Freedom of Preach: pimp prayer skit basically + a WOOFER WORK OUT BEAT ..on the slow jam tip basically talking about preaching hte right and wrong things from different views of the issue one of my faves

OVerall I'd say a soldid Luda effort and buyable worthy.

Luda trying not to have a FULL CD about drinking, rims, wides, women/sex, and weed. So for that I applaud him...he needed to broaden hsi rap game subject matter.

I've heard differing opinions on Money Maker ... by people I respect their opinions on in regards to rap cds. My man thought it wasn't good but I and a few others like it so...

I think Ludas rapping could be a little better on GGW... but hte beat w/ teh fasst rhyming makes it good.... if it had stronger lyrics it could be one of the best tracks on the cd.
